Ed Dolista is the host of The IndyCast.

Ed began performing in 1981 alongside Guy Pearce and Portia DeRossi in The King & I, after which he appeared in numerous stage productions including Les Misérables, Picasso at the Lapin Agile, Grease, Romeo & Juliet, Little Shop of Horrors, and The Robin Hood Trilogy Special Edition, which he co-wrote with long time collaborator, Ian Nash-Gilchrist. He was also nominated for Best Actor in a Leading Role by the Theatre Guild of Victoria for his role of J. Pierrepont Finch in How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying and as best director for LYT’s production of Little Shop of Horrors.

His television roles include Tobias in The Secret Life of Us as well as guest roles in Stingers: Undercover and Neighbours and numerous short films. He also portrayed Captain Starlight and entertained seriouslly ill children and their families for 3 years for the Starlight Childrens Foundation at various hospitals around Victoria.

Ed was host of the radio show Disco Fever on public radio for 18 years, after which he retired to pursue podcasting. After contacting the hosts of the ForceCast suggesting the idea of an Indiana Jones themed podcast, a pilot episode was recorded and the IndyCast was born. Almost two years later, the IndyCast enjoys a passionate listener base from all over the globe.

When not speaking into his computer, Ed teaches Drama, Theatre Studies, Video Game Design and occasionally appears as Captain Jack Sparrow at corporate and charity events.
