- Jimmy Mac picks three winners of ForceCast trading card sets from among their Facebook fans.
- The trio discusses last Friday's "Star Wars Day," so called because of the pun "May the Fourth Be With You." They also listen to a segment from Jimmy Mac's friend's radio show in which Jimmy and his friend talked about the importance of the day to fans.
- Jason plays the latest installment of Stephen Stanton's "Bedtime Stories with Moralo Eval."
- Billy Dee Quote of the Week
- Billy Dee reprised his role as Lando Calrissian in the 1994 Dark Empire audio drama.
- Celebration Update
- Celebration VI appearances by Carrie Fisher and Joel Aron were announced by StarWars.com on May 4th. A few days later, The Official Star Wars Site made a second round of CVI guest announcements: Peter Mayhew, Tim Rose (Ackbar), Nick Maley (TESB make-up artist), Paul Springer (mime artist, puppeteer, and ROTJ actor playing Ree Yees and a Gamorrean guard), and Trevor Butterfield (ROTJ Imperial Officer and Lt. Blount). These seven guests join Dave Filoni, Daniel Logan, Jeremy Bulloch, Dickey Beer, and John Morton as the currently-announced CVI celebrity attendees.
- The Celebration Family Room was also announced. Activities will include Jawa Painting with Pat, Building Challenges with Chad, and “This Deal is Getting Worse all the Time!” with Jedi Eddy.
- Jimmy attended a performance of Timon of Athens, starring Ian McDiarmid, at the Chicago Shakespeare Theater. He tells Jason, Cris, and ForceCast listeners about watching the play, seeing McDiarmid for the first time ("What a buzz seeing live Palpatine!"), and more. He also plays a clip of McDiarmid's performance as the character Timon. (Click here to see a photo of Jimmy and McDiarmid.)
- Lucasfilm Ltd. has laid off Bonnie Burton, a longtime employee and friend of The ForceCast, according to Burton on Twitter. As a Senior Editor for Lucas Online, Burton brought the Star Wars franchise's official web presences into the 21st century and used the Star Wars Twitter and Facebook accounts to connect with fans on an unprecedented level.
